Antonio Bailey (b.1990, Charlotte, North Carolina)

Gender, culture and sexuality are rich concepts, filled with nuances and complexities that Antonio explores with his photography.

Through his art, he transforms his distinctive military journey into a realm where the intricacies of one's identity are not suppressed but rather embraced, recognized, and integrated into society.

Antonio’s work was recently shown in ‘Lights, Camera, Astrology’ at the Museum of Natural Sciences, and has been displayed in various shows throughout UNC- Greensboro.

Antonio received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography degree from UNC- Greensboro and is now attending Massachusetts College of Art and Design in their MFA Photography program.
